Vote for Yolanda Moore for Clovis Unified School Board!

Be sure to get out and vote November 3rd!

My name is Yolanda Moore and I am running for CUSD School Board, Area 7.

I am originally from the Central Valley, a Hoover High School graduate.  I attended CSU, Sacramento where I earned a degree in Biology and met my husband, Conrad. We lived in the midwest for a few years while I attended Marquette University for graduate school. It was there that I earned a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies.  After spending much of my adult life in Northern California, I returned to the Central Valley 6 years ago.  My husband and I chose Clovis specifically to ensure that our 3 children (now ages 19, 11 and 8) would receive a stellar education.  Our oldest is a recent Clovis High grad and the two younger children are currently in middle and elementary school.  I am a small business owner and also work full time as an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant, previously in the ER at Valley Children’s Hospital but currently in the ER at Community Regional Medical Center.  I am a devoted volunteer in the church and the classroom in addition to serving on the PTC, School Site Council, District Advisory Committee and Intercultural and Diversity Advisory Council.  As a heavily involved parent with students in the district, my finger is on the pulse of student life and parent concerns.  I am committed to maintaining the high standards that Clovis Unified is known for while I strive to have communication within our community and encourage the inclusivity and cultural awareness that our students deserve.

“Moore for CUSD Families! “

  • She contributes a fresh perspective and will diversify the dynamic of the board.
  • She is hopeful for growth in our CTE programs and the development of cultural studies for our students.
  • She believes in communication and transparency between the district and families.
